Cameras Follow Heidi to Colorado to Face Mom

After keeping her family in the dark about getting 10 plastic surgery procedures in one day, Heidi Montag is finally heading home to Crested Butte, Colo., to confront her mom and reveal what she calls, “the new me.”

And camera crews for MTV’s The Hills are recording it all.

Montag — still in bandages she has to wear for portions of the day while her recovery continues — boarded a private jet bound for Colorado early Wednesday with her sister Holly.

The Hills star recently told PEOPLE her mom, Darlene Egelhoff, was horrified by the surgeries. “I still can’t believe I’m 23 and mom is reacting this way,” Montag said.

Despite conflicting reports that her mom was actually supportive of the surgeries, Montag told PEOPLE her mother didn’t know the extent of the procedures and only talked to her daughter after they were completed. At that point, her tune changed dramatically and Egelhoff became eager to confront Montag about going under the knife.

Whitney's Blog: BH Nails Saved The Day

Beverly Hills Nail Design saved the day on Saturday! As my siblings and I made our way around LA trying to complete our list of things to do for the scavenger hunt, BH Nails came to be our one stop shop! I think we crossed off about five things after leaving there! Not only did they let us each paint our nails ten different colors, but they also helped me Saran Wrap my torso. One of the nice ladies even let Paigey and I sandwich her with a big hug! Thanks for all your help Beverly Hills Nails!!!

Lauren and Whitney: No Plastic Surgery For Us!

Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port are not among the many celebrities that have resorted to plastic surgery to enhance their looks, as both are committed to staying beautiful naturally.

“I think it’s a personal thing,” Whitney, now star of The City, tells me. “They feel like it’s necessary and it’s going to make them feel more confident." If that's what they believe, "then more power to them," she adds.

Lauren Conrad said late last year that the need for plastic surgery stems from fame.

“It’s hard because you’re in that position where you’re being criticized for everything,” LC, whose novel L.A. Candy is getting the silver screen treatment.

“Do you ignore it, and try to be beautiful on your own and be happy with the way you look? or do you listen to the criticism. They put them on this platform, and they tear them apart and then they criticize them even more for changing themselves."

"I think you just try and be confident with the way you are.”

Showing off her beautiful self, Audrina Patridge was spotted shopping in the rain in Hollywood, California on Tuesday afternoon (January 26).

Looking lovely in a casual-cute ensemble, the “Hills” hottie strolled past photogs as she popped into the popular Fred Segal boutique to pick up a few items.

Tweeting about the fun-filled outing, Audrina tweeted to her fans and followers, telling, “its a girly day today!!... hair, nails, and facials.”

In a celebratory mood, the 24-year-old brunette beauty wrote a few hours earlier, “happy anniversay to my mom and dad!!! 26 years!! i love them sooo much!”
